1. Who We Are
TruReps ("we," "our," or "us") is a pre-launch marketplace connecting youth soccer players and families with qualified trainers in the DMV area. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information gathered through our waitlist at trureps.io.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the email address you voluntarily provide when signing up for our waitlist. We do not collect your name, phone number, payment information, or any other personal data at this stage. We may also collect standard server log data (IP address, browser type, referring URL) through our hosting infrastructure.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your email address is used solely to notify you when TruReps launches and to send you relevant product updates leading up to launch. We will not use your email for unrelated marketing, and we will not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Data Storage & Security
Email addresses are stored securely in Supabase, a cloud database platform with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Access to the waitlist data is restricted to authorized TruReps personnel only. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access or disclosure.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Supabase for database storage. Supabase processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy. We may in the future use an email service provider (such as Resend or Postmark) to deliver launch notifications; any such provider will be bound by data processing agreements consistent with this policy.
6. Your Rights
You may request removal of your email from our waitlist at any time by emailing us at privacy@trureps.io. Upon receipt of a valid request, we will delete your email address from our database within 30 days. If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also have rights of access, correction, and portability under the GDPR.
7. Children's Privacy
Our waitlist is intended for adults (18+) or parents and guardians acting on behalf of youth athletes. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as TruReps evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify waitlist subscribers by email prior to the changes taking effect. Continued presence on the waitlist after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
